Texas Credit Watch ("we") provides summaries of public county records about businesses. By uploading a customer list or subscribing, you agree to these terms.
What the service is
We match the business names you provide against liens, judgments, tax liens and related filings recorded in the counties listed on our site during the last 12 months, and send you a report. Matching is by business name (and Texas taxpayer number when you provide it) and is best-effort: a match may be a different business with a similar name, and a filing may be missed. Always confirm a filing on the county record before acting on it.
Not a consumer report
The service covers businesses only. It is not a consumer report and may not be used to evaluate an individual for credit, insurance, employment, housing or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Do not upload lists of individuals.
Your list
You confirm you may share the list with us for this purpose. We use it only to make your report (and, if you subscribe, your weekly updates), never share or sell it, and delete it as described in our privacy notice.
No warranty
Reports are provided "as is", without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. County records can be incomplete, late or wrong. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Subscriptions
Weekly monitoring is billed monthly through Stripe and can be cancelled anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month. No refunds for partial months.
